The Correct Way to Learn Professional Trading
Here is the correct way to learn professional trading:
I want to explain this to you with an analogy.
Let's say, I give you have a Chinese book to read.
Now, the question is, would you be able to read that book?
Unless you understand Chinese, you can't?
To be able to read the book, you will first have to learn the language of the book.
Similarly, in the markets, if you want to become a professional trader, you will first have to learn the language of the markets.
And what is the language of the market?
The Candlesticks.
The Japanese Candlesticks are the language of the market.
If you understand candlesticks, there is a chance that, you can become a professional trader.
If you do not understand the language of the market, you will not be able to navigate your way through the market.
Another thing I want to highlight here is:
If I give you a Chinese book and if you decide to read that book, then first you will have to learn Chinese.
So, let's say, you spend a couple of years learning to read, write and speak Chinese.
After two years, three things will happen.
One is: you will be able to read the book that I have given to you.
Second: you will be able to write your own book in Chinese language.
And three: If I give you five Chinese books or novels, you can read all of them and make a comparison as to which one is better than the other, right?
Similarly, in the markets, once you learn the language of the market, which is, the Japanese Candlesticks, you will be in a position to understand a particular trading strategy.
So, if you attend, let's say a weekend seminar and somebody gives you a strategy, you will be able to understand that strategy.
Second, you will be able to create your own trading strategy for yourself, because now, you understand the markets.
And third, if I give you five different trading strategies, where each strategy is a combination of candles and some indicators, you will be in a position to compare those five strategies and pick the one that you feel, can work the best for you, in the market.
The problem that is happening right now is:
People attend a weekend seminar on trading, and somebody gives them a strategy to trade.
And they try the strategy for two, three months and then they give up on the strategy.
The reason why this is happening is because: they do not understand the strategy.
Because they do not understand the language of the markets, which is the Japanese Candlesticks.
The guy who is giving you the strategy in that trading seminar, he might have been using that strategy for the past two decades in the market.
So, he intimately understands that strategy.
But you don't understand the strategy, because you don't understand the language of the markets.
So, the correct way to learn professional trading is to first learn the language of the markets and then progress through different types of trading strategies and find out the one that works best for your personality and your temperament in the market.
That's the correct way to go about professional trading.
